The 3rd European Conference on Social and
Behavioural Research on AIDS will take place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from
February 13-16, 2000.
The mission of the conference is both to improve the
quality of life of people with HIV/AIDS, and to contribute to limiting the
further spread of HIV. The organisers aim:

scientific insights and results

learned by AIDS Service Organisations in the areas of care, education,
prevention and advocacy
- to stimulate practical and effective collaboration
between disciplines and European regions
- to identify and to explore new issues and trends in
HIV/AIDS related research and practice
to explore and further develop a specific European
approach to both HIV/AIDS related research and practice.
The conference is co-sponsored by the Joint United
Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), and will be hosted by the Aids Fonds,
