| Nuffield Council on Bioethics report on International Clinical Research |
This is a major 2002 report on the ethics of international clinical research, which is largely concerned with the need to respond to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. It does not seek to replace any of the existing guidelines, but proposes a framework in which they can be put into effect. The Nuffield Council is an independent body supported by the UK government’s Medical Research Council, the Wellcome Trust and the Nuffield Foundation.
