NAM's funders
NAM works hard to make sure it receives its funding from a wide range of sources so it does not rely too heavily on any one funder. This means it can be confident that its future will not be jeopardised by a funder unexpectedly withdrawing its support.
However, this year we need to raise 1.1 million pounds to fund what we believe are vital information services. Roughly 18% will come from sales of our resources to professionals working in the HIV sector, 31% from the UK government, 22% from pharmaceutical and biotech companies and 22% from charitable trusts. The remainder is down to the generosity of individuals and major donors.
NAM launched its individual fundraising scheme, Friends of NAM, in 2004. This has been a great success and our thanks go out to those of you who have become a Friend of NAM. Support like this makes a huge difference and will enable us to reach even more people with essential treatments information. If you would like to support NAM's work and help people live longer, healthier lives, visit our individual donors page.
