NAM's 20th Birthday
This is NAM’s birthday month. It is exactly 20 years since the organisation was set up to counteract the flood of inaccuracy and hysteria that then surrounded HIV with calm, authoritative and evidence-based information.

Last year we sent out three times as many information booklets to HIV-positive people in the UK as the year before. Visits to our website, aidsmap.com, have doubled every year for the last three, from around the world. We are developing new materials for healthcare staff in resource-limited countries.
And now, in 2005, we need to respond to feedback and research which tells us of the need for new resources for people with HIV. We need your support to do this.
